Team
development

We work with teams to harness their diversity of thought, experience and perspective, transforming it into clarity, cohesion and collective performance.

We help teams shift from co-existing to collaborating.

Whether it’s an executive group leading transformation, a newly formed project team, or a leadership team stuck in old patterns, we support them to build trust, clarify purpose and strengthen how they operate together.

Our approach combines evidence-based frameworks with practical facilitation and coaching. We focus on what’s really going on in the room, naming the blockers, surfacing the tensions, and helping teams navigate them with curiosity and respect. The result is stronger connection, sharper focus and better outcomes, together.

How we work

When it comes to team development we offer two solutions: bespoke programs and pre-designed solutions.

Bespoke Programs

We start with a blank page and design a program from the ground up in response to your specific goals, culture and context. These programs are co-created with you, shaped by your strategy, and built to deliver exactly what your people need.

Pre-design Solutions

These programs are built on frameworks we’ve delivered before; tried and tested, with a strong foundation. Yet we tailor the content, language, pace and examples to your organisation, so they feel relevant, real and ready to land.

Both approaches are collaborative. Both are grounded in evidence.

The difference is in the level of build and how fast we can deliver.

Examples of bespoke team development

FinTech scale up

We worked with the Executive and broader Leadership Team to build leadership maturity, strengthen alignment, and embed a clear, consistent culture across the organisation.

The work began by co-creating a leadership capability framework, anchored in the behaviours and mindsets required for scale. From there, we aligned the ELT through a high-performing team process.

We then built a leadership development program tailored to different levels, anchored in their newly developed capability framework. This included 360 assessments, targeted workshops, and individual coaching, all designed to lift leadership capability, increase accountability, and translate culture into day-to-day leadership.

Mid-level leader program

This program focused on strengthening leadership mindset, enterprise thinking, and influence across the system. Anchored in the organisation’s leadership expectations and cultural aspirations, we built a multi-phase program that blended in-person workshops with small group coaching pods to deepen learning and drive application.

The program was built around a 360 diagnostic tool, with each participant identifying a personalised development focus.

Over four phases, leaders explored self-leadership, built cross-functional trust, practised strategic storytelling, and developed tools to lead through complexity. Through targeted coaching, experiential sessions, and peer collaboration, the program lifted confidence, alignment and impact across the cohort.

These pre-designed offerings are grounded in experience and built around the issues we see most often: building trust, leading with clarity, communicating well, and working better together.

Each program is underpinned by a clear framework, but tailored to your context, whether that’s your industry, team size, or organisational culture. We adapt the language, examples and facilitation style to make the work relatable and real.

The result is a flexible, focused experience that’s fast to deliver and immediately useful.

Pre-designed team development programs

High performing teams program

We believe High Performance is the result of Team Effectiveness. High performance is an achievement, while team effectiveness is an ongoing pursuit and iterative process that requires continuous attention, reflection, and adaptation.

During this program, we employ our evidence-based Team Effectiveness Method to guide teams toward high performance. Our model, developed from research by Peter Hawkins, Smith & Katzenbach, and other leading organisational theorists and practitioners, takes a systemic view of team dynamics.

It provides a comprehensive framework that addresses five critical dimensions:

  1. Purpose

  2. Plan

  3. Process

  4. People

  5. Practice

This systemic approach enables teams to align on shared goals while establishing constructive ways of working that leverage individual strengths and foster a cohesive team identity.

Leader as Coach program

More and more, we are seeing that traditional leadership approaches are no longer effective. Modern leaders must be skilled coaches who can:

  • Build psychological safety and trust across diverse teams

  • Drive engagement and innovation through meaningful conversations

  • Balance digital transformation with genuine human connection

  • Lead with purpose, inclusivity, and authenticity

Our Leader as Coach program equips leaders with practical coaching skills and frameworks that create measurable results. The program helps leaders hold quality conversations that develop both themselves and those who look to them for leadership. It is designed to create a common language and coaching culture throughout the team (and organisation).

Benefits that have been gained from teams participating in this program include:

  • Enhanced leadership capability at all levels

  • Improved team performance and innovation

  • Stronger engagement and retention

  • Better cross-functional collaboration

  • More effective change management

  • Increased psychological safety

Masterclasses

Our Masterclasses are short, sharp and designed to make an impact. These sessions deliver practical tools, real-world insight and space to reflect; building capability in focused, manageable bursts that are designed to slot into busy schedules without disruption.

Whether the goal is to strengthen accountability, lift communication, lead through pressure, or navigate complexity, we have a suite of sessions that land where they’re needed. From Delegation and Decision Making to Feedback, Difficult Conversations, and Working in High Pressure Teams – each session is designed to spark shift, not just tick a box.

We adapt each one to your context – your people, your language, your challenges – so the learning sticks and the change lasts.

Download our Masterclasses & Workshops Guide to view the topics we currently offer.

And if there’s something specific, you’re looking for but don’t see listed – just reach out. If it’s people-related, we’re always up for shaping something new.

Think Tanks

Think Tanks are one of the most energising and impactful sessions we run. They’re structured, evidence-based workshops designed to help teams surface what’s really going on, beyond the agendas and the task lists. Whether it's a group of leaders grappling with a complex challenge or multiple teams tackling a shared problem, Think Tanks create the space to pause, reflect and collaborate in ways that drive momentum.

They’re not about solving the unsolvable in one day. They're about removing the handbrakes, naming tensions, unearthing assumptions, and finding clarity in the chaos. We’ve seen teams leave a Think Tank with barriers cleared, accountability reset, and a renewed sense of direction. They unlock energy, build alignment and inspire collective ownership, making it easier to move forward with purpose.
