Wellbeing and performance are not a trade-off. We often act as if we have to choose between a high-performing team and a healthy one — but performance isn't sustainable without wellbeing, and wellbeing without performance doesn't last either.

One of the most loved tools in our Leader as Coach program is the Wellbeing / Performance Matrix. It tends to produce the same aha moment: high performance without wellbeing leads to burnout; wellbeing without performance creates stagnation; and the real goal is sustainable success in both.
